A weekend stamp rampage!

My friend and I decided to get creative this weekend with stamps and so here are some of the ones I made.Some are done on plain black paper and one of them on white.I was thinking on turning them into bookmarks.

I spent some time this weekend with my new cheap sketch pad and some sharpies.I also tried pencil again however I am usually a visual artist and don't do well on imaginative stuff when it comes to faces so this was an attempt but I'm not finished it yet.However I am still in love with the sharpie!

Awww!I love long weekends!

So I had a great weekend.I don't really make a big meal and occasionally my mom might hold an Easter feast but this year I went over to my bro's place and had a barbeque in the beautiful Spring sunshine.Chicken,potatoes,teriyaki vegetables,sweet potatoes baked in brown sugar and just the company of family.Alot of laughs and some wine and just a great day all and all.I had a little time this weekend to stop at the shop where I sell my crafts and to my surprise I had sold some things.It's been awhile since I was there due to work being such a busy time for me.So I decided to make some newer items for them to try and sell for me.So above pics are what I came up with.Little felt covered notebooks I made from scratch with the binding stitched with embroidery thread and a whipstitch to complete the look.I like the butterfly notebook better but I hope to make more of these in different colors and patterns.

My Newest Artistic Project...Sharpie ATC's!

I have to admit...Sharpies are my new best friend.I felt very inspired today when it came to making ATC's.Later on in the day I got out my new sharpies and just started do some simple imagination sketches and then filled them in with color.I thought I'd make it even more interesting and display them using a photograph out of a book from Ireland that I have.I am so happy that it has been nice out as I am more able to feel creative when there's no snow falling.

Sometimes I get too carried away with the camera and will take a picture of just about anything but I just had to because I love my new little bunny.From my hunny!as well as yummy easter chocolate m&m's.

The Wall Hanging ATC

I got an idea to make an ATC that could be placed as art on your wall when finished.I really like the idea and will probably make more.This one as a medieval theme to it.

I made some new atc's today!

I spent some time this morning working on ATC's with a medieval theme to them.However the light in my house or lack there of did not work when taking a picture of them.They turned out alright though I think.
